Former Native Californian and Christian Author, Jan Rogers, met her husband, Michael, in Northern California in 1974. They settled in their home in the foothills of the Cherokee National Forest in Northeast Tennessee in 1995 where Michael practiced dentistry. She is a Bible study author and teacher, former Womens Ministry Director and Mentor, and public speaker. In 2013, Michael was diagnosed with a blood disorder which resulted in a bone marrow stem cell transplant in May, 2014. Her blog recount of their difficult journey which inspired and encouraged many people experiencing their own daily trials transformed into her first book, "More than 100 Days, a Stem Cell Transplant Journey of Faith".
